Ryan’s Toy Roundup was started in memory of Ryan Patrick Faella by his aunt, Claire Duffy, over nineteen years ago. This yearly event was created to honor Ryan, a 13-year-old boy from Mountainside, who had an incredible energy, infectious smile, and a kind heart, who passed away suddenly in the summer of 2000. This toy drive continues today organizing and distributing toys to worthy organizations in need during the holidays. New unwrapped toys may be dropped off at Mountainside Borough Hall and Union County Administration Building- NJ which begins Friday after Thanksgiving and other sites throughout the state.
